Wired Earpods Connection Problem?

Is anyone experiencing problems with their wired EarPods? Every now and then the audio cuts off and then replays. Sometimes it would even cut off and play from the phone speakers instead for a couple of seconds. My phone isn’t dirty as I clean it daily. And these buds are pretty new. This doesn’t happen to my AirPods though so it might be a hardware issue?
