[Bug] Export to pdf on Preview (Monterey)

Hi. that also not working.. its not opening the window for choosing the location where this pdf version to be saved.

Hope apple solves it fast.

I have a similar problem. When I open a multi page tif file in Preview and then export it as a pdf it’s just the first page over and over

I am having similar problems with Word, NeoOffice and Foxit Reader: cannot export to PDF using any of these software after system upgrade. Is it just me? Could it be a bigger problem with Monterey?

Same problem here. Regretting updating to Monterey already, too many bugs.

@qburke I so the exact same thing with Combine from DocuSign multiple times per day. Please let me know if you figure out any workaround on this. Definitely a bug!

Of course, there are many options to get the work done. However, it results in a loss of convenience.

I do not get the save as option in the file - just save. I tried to print - pdf - save as postscript but i cant open the file

If Export to PDF...is not working, how do I encrypt a PDF using Preview?

By 'exporting a PDF as PDF', do you mean you want to duplicate the same file?

To me, I get an editable PDF when I do that.

• I think you should duplicate a blank copy of the PDF and then lock that duplicate.
• After you lock it, you can still make changes, but they can't be saved unless you have removed the lock.

I do not think that this is actually a bug; it is Apple's response to a purported security issue. That is why they did not remedy it in the last update, as they did with the screen sleep issue.
