Songs View Jumping to Random Spots After Action

It even jumps when looking at artists with the browser open. I don't want to have to use the arrow keys since that will filter my songs by artist and also takes forever. I have a Logitech KB&M, so I don't think it's the input device.

Earlier in this thread, somebody (probably multiple people) mentioned that the issue is most like caused by iCloud Music Library, and I strongly suspect they're right. I think it's probably iCloud Music Library telling the Music app to jump to the song it thinks you want to see - maybe the previously played or previously edited song? I don't know, but that's my guess for what's causing this.

The jumping after rating is still happening post 12.1 (I can't mention the word but it begins with a b).

This is the most annoying bug in music maybe ever -- and there have been lots of them -- especially for those of us with large libraries who use Smart Playlists for editing tag data.

Also, have you noticed the left-right scroll bar appearing randomly in the Songs view, even when there's no need for it?

Yeah, this needs to be fixed. I'm currently building a playlist of 20,000+ songs, and it's really infuriating to scroll through and find where I was working before the view jumped to the top of the list.

I thought I was alone. Not just in having this issue, but in the level of frustration with Apple Music/iTunes. What is worst, is the level of support. Zero support and apparently zero interest in correcting what should be a simple bug fix.

You're limited to 11,000 songs per playlist on Spotify. And you can't add music that isn't available there, or music you made to your Spotify playlists. I mean, you can, but you have to be playing Spotify from the computer the songs are on. Unlike Apple Music where you can put those songs on your cloud, and play them from anything linked to your cloud. I listen to Apple Music on my Macbook, iPod, and Apple TV pucks.

Same issue, every time I edit the genre space and hit enter it jumps to the top of the playlist window . Command L brings me to the track but its at the bottom of the window. Also cant rearrange the headers of the window often; very annoying! And also what's up with that massive playlist header, you could have 30 more tracks in its place!

Also a bug when when you update the comment field of multiple songs at the same time. Sometimes it doesn’t change one of the entries. This bug has been around at least two years now.

PS - you can view Artwork in song view. In song view, press Cmd-J and you’ll see the option to view artwork.

I'm also getting all of the above problems with Music.

Also, when in songs view, if I try to sort into Album/Time/Year or whatever order, the column briefly highlights in a dark gray colour, and does nothing. It seems to take two or three attempts for the sort to work.

Yeah, Having the same issue here, I went to build a new playlist and it just keeps jumping around randomly. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue but it is really frustrating, I hope this gets resolved soon.
