iphone 13 pro max cracked screen

Got my phone (iphone13 pro max) 2 weeks ago today. Tonight I noticed what appeared to be an eyelash on the screen when it didn't move I lifted the corner of my screen protector thinking it was under it. As I did this a crack began to spread through screen at the top. This phone has been in an otter box defender case and has a screen protector and camera protector since arriving in the mail from my service provider. It has never been dropped or dinged. I just upgraded from the iPhone 6s, if this tells you how careful I am with my phones to ensure making them last me. My phone states I still have 48 days to add the apple care protection but I really feel like this is a defect of the phone and being it is only 2weeks old my phone should be replaced at no cost to me at all. Has any one else experienced this with the iPhone 13 pro max and if so how did apple handle the issue? After this I am really considering switching to Samsung. These are too $$$$ pricey $$$$ to be experiencing this kind of headache.

Hello

yea you need to book a Apple appointment seeing as this is a screen issue but it could be pricey if out of warranty but if your screen works fine and not doing anything you should be good for the moment Official Apple Support

Same here, the screen broke near Face ID, i put the phone in my pocket and when i pull out is broken. Reply if your glass broke like this.

It’s not the screen protector, it’s the s**tramic shield. When my screen broke the screen protector don’t crack. The crack appear when i remove the screen protector

Except an iPad Mini is not a cell phone and doesn't work like a cell phone. Even a cellular iPad cannot be assigned a phone number like a cell phone as it lacks a cellular radio.

injust noticed the back of my 12 pro also cracked without being dropped.. not sure how this happened as it had a protective case so I’m not sure how this happened. I feel it is a defect.

I’ve had my phone for 2 days and i just saw this on the right hand side I went to wipe the screen and felt that it was the screen itself

Both my wife and I purchased the 13 pro and both screens are showing hairline cracks. They were not dropped or impacted and both had protective cases and screen protectors.
