iphone 12 Halo effect on pictures

my iphone 12 has also a halo effect in puctures. My previous models never showed that. Don't know how to avoid?

You never had a camera system like what is in your iPhone 12, in a 4, 6 or 8. What you see in your photo is not a defect, nor uncommon. Avoid shooting in the direction of the sun to avoid this type of flare, which is normal given the more sophisticated cameras in your iPhone.

Yes, sure. However, I use iphones since many years and never had an issue like that. It's only with iPhone 12. With 4, 6 and 8 it never happened...
Okay, that's understandable. The pictures of the 12 are very good, of course but now I have to consider this in the future and shield the lenses.
Especially, because of the brightness of the sunlight, the flare cannot be recognized on the display when shooting the foto.
Thanks to made sure that it's not a technical defect.
Avoid shooting towards the sun even if the sun is not in the frame.
Old time cameras use lens hoods for that but you could try using your hand.
