Since upgrading my MacBook Pro to OS 12.0.1 Monterey my SanDisk USB drives aren't working. When I try to access using the installed SanDiskSecureAccessV3_mac application I get "This application only runs on a SanDisk flash drive." I've reinstalled app and nothing changes. Can't access. All of the drives worked fine before the upgrade.

I contacted SanDisk and they say it’s their problem and they are working on a fix. Apparently they were not in sync with Apple to be compatible with the changes in Monterey. They didn’t have a date for when the fix will be released, but recommended checking their web support site where it will be downloadable.

If you have an old computer they will work - No solution hope soon on an Apple update! Dan Disk says it aapl!
Since Sandisk is working on a fix that may take some time, what is the procedure for reverting back to the previous version of OS so that I can access my files?
has anyone found a fix for this? I can't access the sanDisk Secure Access vault.
The problem is that most people don’t have a way of extracting their files from the flash drive before they format the drive.
SanDisk has a fix and it works follow there instructions . The new security is called Private Access

worked fine. I will now modify my other flash drives the same way.
Same problem. I recently got a SanDisk, Secure Access does not work with the same error message. :(
Install the PrivateAccess directly on the flash drive. It should find the the existing vault and open it.
Big Thanks. I was worried and PrivateAccess worked for me. Apparently that's the go forward app for Mac devices as per Sandisk.

PrivateAccess works nicely on my Mac runs Monterey: macOS 12.3.1 (21E258).
