Height and Width buttons PowerPoint

Why are the height and width buttons now grayed out when selecting shapes of different sizes in PowerPoint. It never used to be like this. You could select, for example 10 different sized circles and make them all the same size by entering one sizes for all into the height and width boxes. Now it is incredibly time consuming to resize each one individually. Screenshot attached to show grayed out boxes.
