Are apple going to fix finalcut pro so we don't have to convert videos that we filmed using an iPhone?

If you import the files from Finalcut Pro they import and work. But if you try to open the files with Finalcut Pro you get the incompatibility message. So all is good after all.
Now I just want to delete the question above but don't know how to.
