Unable to share bounce photos via whatsapp since IOS15 upgrade

I came on looking to resolve the same issue, wasn’t working for me on 15.2 either, however after reading these posts have just updated to 15.3, and it’s now allowing me to upload my bounce photos to WhatsApp.

Agree to disagree. When trying to share a bounce photo from photos app to WhatsApp I still get a message “This item cannot be shared. Please select a different item.” I have 15.2. There is a workaround where you save the bounce to files, then sharing from files it gives you the option of sending as a video or a gif. Still this is a ton of extra steps and makes sharing much harder.

We understand that your Live photos with the bounce effect are not bot being shared in WhatsApp and you were able to review one of the support articles. What occurs when you try to share a photo? How are you sharing the photos? Can you share the photos to other apps? Be sure you have updated to iOS 15.1.

Hi therealPAM99, i have an iPhone 11 With iOS 15.2 and works finé to share loop or bounce gif tô WhatsApp. I just try after your post tô check and works fine
