Sound low on using FaceTime on an iPad

I think after installation of iPadOS 15 the sound on FaceTime was greatly reduced. I checked the iPad by running YouTube with no issues.

After speaking with an Apple Support agent (Rahul, thank you), who suggested I try various things, the problem was fixed by going into Settings/Accessibility/AudioVisual and then toggling the volume balance, first to right, then to left and back to the middle. This fixed the problem and it hasn’t reoccurred.

It is on the maximum volume but is nowhere near as loud as when playing music. No FaceTime sound since updating to iOS 15.1 Since updating to 15.1 I get no sound on my iPad when making FaceTime calls. Other apps on iPad such as YouTube and game apps have great sound. Just no sound for FaceTime

iPad Pro constant low volume on FaceTime calls I have a new 12.9” iPad Pro 2021. When I listen to music or play a video I can easily control the volume from either control center or the volume buttons. But when I’m on a FaceTime call the volume is very low and doesn’t change no matter what I do. I tried lowering or raising the volume during a call and it doesn’t affect the volume whatsoever. The volume bar moves up or down but the call sounds constantly low. I tried restarting the iPad including a reset. I’m using the latest iPad OS. Couldn’t find much information about this issue online. Any solutions?
