Citrix issues with New MacBook Pro M1 chip

Anyone else having issues trying to get Citrix Workspace app to work across 2 monitors? While this is an Intel based app, and I am running Rosetta, I still cant get more than the MacBook Pro screen to function. On my now-replaced Intel based MacBook Pro, all worked perfectly. Each machine is on the same Monterey 12.0.1 release except the M1 based machine will not function correctly. Has anyone heard from Citrix or Apple about this issue and when a fix might be released? If you are experiencing this, please reply below or if you've been able to resolve it, also, please reply below.

I have tried installing prior versions of Citrix app going back over a dozen release versions yet nothing corrects this problem.

Hi all,

With apologies for following up on my own post, given it seems I’m alone in finding this issue, I’ll share the solution in case it is useful to others later: given that the dummy user account proved the issue was in my user profile, I changed my MacOS home folder do a different location, and copied across my important files (Documents, Music, Pictures). This essentially wiped my profile, which meant I needed to reset my System Preferences (and re-register for Apple Pay etc), but avoided the need to re-register the machine with Apple, reinstall apps and make new Time Machine backups, which would be required by a complete rebuild. This immediately fixed the issue, so I’m back up and running with all displays in full-screen.

Hope that helps someone in the future.

Best
