Updated MacBook to Monterey. Now all my flagged emails are gone from the flagged folder. I can still find them if I scroll through all my emails (the flags are there, just not in the flagged folder). I can find the emails in the flagged folder on my iPhone. I have the filter off. Any help/suggestions as to why this happened? I am old but only slightly technically challenged. Thanks

If we understand correctly, you are not able to see the flagged emails in the Flagged folder in the Mail app. One thing you can do is rebuild the mailboxes to see if they appear again.
on your Mac, select a mailbox in the sidebar.Rebuild mailboxes in Mail on Mac

This solved my question. The mailbox rebuilt and the next day my flagged emails (267) were back in the flagged folder

While in Apple Mail >> View - in Top Menu of Mail and is " Use Column Layout " being used ??
If so again in Apple Mail and Open >> Look for " Subject " in Header Column and Right Click it. A Pop Out sub-menu appears and choose to Add Flags to a new Column
Is there something else I could try if rebuilding the mailbox did not work?
