iphone 13 pro max gps problems

Add me to the list as well. The only thing that fixes it is a restart. iOS 15.1.1. Just started happening 2 days ago 🤷‍♂️

I get the same issue on Strava on every ride now. Always appears I am a couple hundred feet off the trail. I have an iPhone 13 PRO

Not that I would recommend it, but I performed a factory reset, and it has been better since. Hopefully it stays that way.

Though I can’t find the original post, the turning on and off location services has worked. A little quicker fix than a restart.

I just spoke to Apple for 30 minutes. They say there are no reports of this issue. I am taking phone in on Monday to let them check it

Before doing any resetting of Location/Privacy, you might just try turning your phone power OFF and back ON. Many times, that fixes the strange behavior. 🤗

That didn't help me, came right back. Apple has been in touch and I sent them some video and pics showing the issue.

Fair enough it is quite a lengthy process especially setting up all the apps again from scratch but it’s worked for me so I’m happy. Good luck, let us know what Apples resolution is.

My GPS has been working perfectly for a week now.

Okay let us know what they say. Prior to doing a clean install, my gps would be out of sync every other day and it definitely didn’t work for 1 whole week.

I’ll post an update a couple weeks in.

Also having GPS issues all of the time with my iPhone 13 pro …. Infinitely frustrated … anyway have a clever fix?

Unfortunately doing the reset for me didn't help as much as it did you guys. I still need to restart my phone to get it working again, then it works for a little while but then acts up again.

Upgrading to 15.2 worked to correct the problems on both the phones in our house. Did not do the full reset described above and our have worked successfully for the last two weeks or so.
