UPS Employee stole iPhone 13 Pro Max

So, I ordered my iPhone on 10/11/21 and was notified that I would get it between 11/03-11/10. I waited, and waited and on 10/28 they tried to deliver the phone but couldn't due to nobody being home and it needed a signature. On 10/29 it was "delivered", (my dad went to the door expecting the UPS guy to need his signature and instead the UPS guy said he left it by the door). My dad opened the package to find that the box was empty with no iPhone and now I am unsure what to do. Anyone has been robbed by UPS?

Apple will look at the signature.

If no signature was obtained, Apple will file a claim with UPS.

In either case, you will need to contact Apple for further instructions.

That's highly unlikely. Enter your tracking number at UPS and look at the signature confirmation.
