'Driver not found' message in Logic

Hello, I'm on a Mac book Pro Retina, 13 inch, early 2015

Logic Pro 10.7

Scarlett 2i2 USB

As soon as I open any session, the message 'driver not found' appears on screen.

I've tried Preference>Audio, then disable and enable again core audio to no avail.

Help please!

Thanks.

Cristina

Hi Christa,

First check with Focusrite that your exact model supports Big Sur and if any drivers are required and need to be updated.

Are you using any kind of third party soft instruments or MIDI drivers? If you are make sure they all support Big Sur and they are up to date.

Do you have any MIDI devices connected? Are you using a USB hub?

If yes try disconnecting everything. Connect the Scarlett directly to the MBP, restart and test.

If it works add other devices one at a time, restart and test.

Also, in Apple Audio and MIDI setup clean house and remove any legacy interfaces or MIDI devices you no longer use. Same in Logic: Control Surfaces.

I hope some of these suggestions help.

Don
