Take photo scan documents MacBook Air M1 Monterey

After updating to OS 12 Neither scan nor add photo is available in Notes or Pages, these are greyed out..

Iphone (iOS 15) and MacBook Air are on the same local network, when trying to connect or pair both I get "MacBook Air not supported on my iPhone. ? However I can share in Airdrop fine.

I can't scan from MacBook Airs desktop using iPhone the way It used to work in BigSur..

Any one having this issue ?

That is exactly how I do it. using continuity camera . every thing is set as instructed. However when on supported mac apps "insert from iPhone , take foto , scan" are greyed out.

Besides when trying to pair IPhone ( IOS 15.1) with MacBook Air (M1) I get " MacBook Air not supported) even though I pair them with the onscreen code that shows up. I did this procedure to scan from IPhone to mac before upgrading from Big Sur to Monterey, and it worked perfect.

Thank you

Hello laussana,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are having trouble with scanning photo in Notes and Pages since updating to macOS Monterey.

Let's see if the steps in this guide help: Use Continuity Camera on your Mac. We're offering this as a first step to make sure the settings are correct on both devices. Once checked try once again with both Notes, then try with Pages.

We're hoping this helps!
