Clean install to isolate problem

I need to do a systematic clean reinstall of my apps/files/settings to isolate the culprit that has been causing my machine to spontaneously restart. Is there a faster way to do this without installing one by one, restarting, install, restart,

Why don't you start by posting a report of what has been installed on the computer. Perhaps you are not able to see what is causing the problem and are assuming it may be software related.

Please navigate to www.Etrecheck.com and download the free version of EtreCheck. Once you have you downloaded the app and installed it, please run the report and save it. This report will help us get a good idea what has been installed on your system and help us be able to diagnose what may be wrong.

When you have your report, you can attach it when you reply to this message and we can then review it and help you determine what is needed to get your system running well again.

I can certainly do that... it would be refreshing to have someone look at all the reports I have generated and shared with Apple, Apple Techs and Apple Retail store techs. To do the systematic install is what the Apple Tech in Houston told me I must do because they could not find anything wrong with the Hardware.

I will check out EtreCheck over the weekend and post the report on Monday.

However, I have already erased the HD and reinstalled just the system settings and email as of today. But maybe that's where the problem lies and I can nip this one before I waste a bunch of time to find that the problem was in my system settings.

Thanks for the direction...
