Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My Apple TV gen 3 will not pass the activation. I have tried what I think is everything. I’ve unplugged my router and reset. Unplugged the Apple TV and restored. Tried resetting it through iTunes via computer. And I have signed into iTunes. I am able to purchase things but I can’t screen mirror which was the whole point of buying this device. I have also tried different wifi networks with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
On Mac I installed Apple Configurator 2 via AppStore. Then I connected the AppleTV 3 with micro USB. Select "profile" and activate. Done

hey doesnt work for apple tv, only old iphones
thats only for old iphones, the appletv 3rd doesnt work
found this solution on another forum! Glad it worked. Apple support spent sp much time fixing it for me - they should use this solution. It’s legit and works!

Thanks this worked for me. Had to find the right micro usb cable. Had difficulty with finding the right cable which is not just charge only but with usb capability.

Why still believe in this, doesn’t work, nothing in this post work, I suggest to the moderators read all the post, because all apps suggest in this post are fake doesn’t work with ATV3rd generation
I did that, but there is no "activate" button in "profiles" page. Does anyone know something about it?
