My phone is saying I have 2 cellular plans. I only have 1. What do I do?

I’m trying to set up my new iPhone 13 Pro and it’s telling me I have 2 cellular plans detected. I’m pretty sure I only have 1. Has anyone experienced this? I can’t make calls any more for some reason.

Thanks for the reply. Yes. I’m upgrading from a iPhone 12 to a 13. No. I did not change carriers. I’m not sure about the “dual SIM”. When I go to Cellular, I see the same phone number on both plans.

I turned off each plan separately and found out one of the plans does not work. I believe the iPhone 13 has an eSIM. I pulled the physical SIM out of the phone and everything started working again. The 2nd plan disappeared.

If this happens to others, please let them know they can’t use the physical SIM from their old phone if they have an eSIM in the new phone.

Thanks again!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities Nylaj,

Thank you for posting! From our understanding, when setting up your new iPhone, you are asked to select between two cellular plans and now you are not able to make or receive calls on your device, is that right? Are you upgrading from another iPhone? Did you recently switch cellular carriers? Do you use Dual SIM? What do you see if you go to Settings > Cellular? Do you see multiple cellular plans listed there?

You can try the steps here: If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone.

Hope that helps!
