i bought a new printer scanner epson 2760 i can print but went i scan will not save i my MacBook air i call epson they want a 100.00 to fix they said it's something in the mac i try everything

Ok so for the moment you have a safe place to scan the documents (via iCloud they will be automatically copied to your desktop/ or you may use airdrop to share them with the Mac).
to solve the issue with macOS you may try to delete the printer and re-install it (please verify on Epson web site and download the last driver/program).
try connecting via cable and bypass AirPrint.

hy, have you tried to download epson app for an iOS product (iPhone / iPad) if you got one, and try to save there? Just to understand if it's a Mac or printer issue.
