Since I updated my Macbook to the macOS Monterey my toolbar turned black. It is bothering me so much, because the difference between the black and light one is huge!
Only when I am on my homepage the toolbar is normal, but with every application I start it suddenly turns black. And I checked if I was on dark mode but that was not the case.
On the screenshot you can see what I mean.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0
It is really weird because before I updated my macbook I did not have this problem. My menubar was always white when in fullscreen mode :(

i tried that the last time i saw this question being asked by someone else. even with that setting, the menubar is black when apps are in full screen mode.
I tried it and still black :( thank you for your help!

You actually have to show the menu bar to see it.

I guess it must be a deal for others as well because Apple added a new setting in Monterey to decide whether to hide the menu bar in full screen or not.

I suppose so.
I agree it doesn't seem too important. I never ever never use full screen. But, there are also users that object to the 1 pixel space under the menu bar. Different strokes for different folks. 😎
