Any key turns on computer
I have a new MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.6.1 I turned it off.. I always 'shut down' after I use it. I came back after a weekend away and the battery is dead. I find that just glacing over any key, literally any key turns the computer on..well boots it.. then, eventually puts it too sleep. I wish to shut this feature off.. so that it takes a purposeful hit to the power key to start it up.
I cannot close the lid, as has been suggested, because I have a port expander plugged into the two ports. The port expander slightly overlays the computer deck making lid closing a problem. Is there any way to shut this annoying feature off
