Webcams (Logitech C920s and ELP HD Digital Camera) not being detected by M1 Mac Mini with New Monterey software

My two webcams (Logitech C920s and ELP HD Digital Camera/USB) have been working really well under earlier versions of Mac OS (including Big Sur), but Monterey is not “seeing/detecting” the camera. System Information says “no camera device found”.

Apple could not solve it saying it was an issue of Logitech and ELP not updating their drivers. And it is (sadly) true, that Logitech has no new download for the Monterey software.

There was a person on a forum that has a very similar problem with their own webcam, who seemed to find a solution that should be applicable to my two webcams (not sure though). Unfortunately, this posted solution is way to technical for me to understand and configure.

Is there a fellow member out there that has experienced the same problem as I have with their Logitech and/or ELP camera that has overcome this problem and can clearly post the solution? Hope so.

Currently, my walk around is relatively simple, but bothersome... when my computer turns on, I simply turn off my two cameras form my USB hum/ports and turn them back on again, causing my Mac Mini system to immediately detect both webcams.
