apple login does not work on Apple TV only, works fine on apple.com

Question

apple login does not work on Apple TV only, works fine on apple.com

Today out of the blue my login and password stopped working on the Apple TV web app (I use google chrome and windows 10). I use a password manager so I know the username and password is correct.

I cannot login to apple TV on my laptop but I can access it via my ipad.

I get the following error:

"Unable to sign in to Apple TV⁠+. Please try again."

Following up with my own issue, my login works fine on Firefox but still gives me errors with google chrome.
