CarPlay autoplay insanity

Every time I plug in my phone, talk to Siri, or an alarm goes off; it starts autoplaying.

Please, how do I stop this? It’s a little maddening.

Automatically playing I’ve searched high and low for a solution and tried everything but nothing seems to solve my phone automatically playing whatever I was last listening to as soon as it connects to my car, either plugging in or Bluetooth. I’m a delivery driver so I’m constantly getting in and out of my car with my phone and it’s becoming outright dangerous having to stop it each time I get in. I need my phone app for navigation and sometimes I listen to music but I need the automatic thing to stop!! From my searching there seems to be no solution which is absolutely insane to me. But this is my last hope. Does anyone know how?? I’ve tried automations. I’ve adjusted every setting. Nothing stops it!!

After the iOS 12.3 update my iPhone X keeps disconnecting from CarPlay every few minutes. Despite using different cables, different apps, restarting phone and car media centre, following the iOS 12.3 update two days ago, my iPhone X keeps disconnecting from CarPlay in my new Renault 2019 every few minutes when listening to the radio, using Maps etc. It is fine when playing music from the phone. I foresee that this can cause problems when navigating in the future but currently is simply just annoying and distracting having to touch the "radio" app button every time to reconnect.

How do I turn off alarm in do not disturb function How do I remove the automatic alarm that goes off when do not disturb time is over? I want to use the do not disturb function on my phone without it automatically having an alarm go off when my set time is over. Before the update DND quietly turned itself in at set time and off at set time. I am now getting an automatic alarm going off and cannot find a place to turn off the alarm.
