URL page[.]link saved in Website and Apps passwords. What is it for?

I have spotted a saved password for a website or app url listed as "page.link". What app is this saved for and is it a security issue?

iPad mini 4, iPadOS 13

I’ve not observed this particular behaviour in iOS/iPadOS saved passwords (i.e., your keychain). Research hasn’t identified an explanation.

If you have any concerns, I suggest that you record any visible details (good old fashioned pencil and paper will do the job) - and then delete the offending entry from your saved credentials. Doing so will remove any associated risk. Keep this recorded information somewhere safe and secure - as a contingency.

In the unlikely event that something that you subsequently need fails to authenticate, you can sign-in again to the required service - this will recreate the missing entry in your keychain.
