Hello y'all! I just upgraded my tv to a newer and bigger model (Samsung TU700D), and I've been hearing crackling noises at random during movies or tv shows. After a couple days of troubleshooting, it looks like it is coming from the AppleTV. Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it? My AppleTV is 5 years old, but is updated to the latest OS.

Then I'd look at your network. Please try the following in the order listed, yes even if you have done one or more of the steps already.
Please try reseating the cables and also try power cycling the Apple TV by unplugging it from it's power source for 2-3 minutes and then plugging it back in.
I have done that!
Next step is to use another HDMI cable. If your Apple TV is a 4K model please ensure the HDMI cable is certified for HDMI.
My AppleTV is a HD but not a 4K (which I’m guessing is creating the issue) Yup, tried that too!
Awesome, I will try that tonight! I am curious, what is it about the network that could cause the crackling noise?
I honestly do not know but doing those steps may have an effect.
