Can I use a late 2015 iMac as a monitor for a 2021 MacMini or as a 2nd monitor for a 2020 iMac?
Can I use a late 2015 iMac as a monitor for a 2021 MacMini or as a 2nd monitor for a 2020 iMac? I've read "no" several places but Apple support said definitely. And I quote from the chat:

Me: I've read that you actually can't use any newer iMac's after 2014 as an external display - so I'm not sure if it's accurate - which is why I wanted to contact Apple directly
Apple: Yes, that is correct. I am double checking.
1:15 PM
Me: Okay - thanks
Apple: Sorry for the wait.
Me: No problem. Want to know for sure before I make any purchases
Apple: Ok, so yes you should be good to go with the 2015. I checked with the Senior Advisor. If you need any help reach out. We are here for you.

Me: So you're confirming that I can definitely use a late 2015 iMac as a 2nd monitor for a 2020 iMac or for a 2021 MacMini. Also the 2015 iMac will have the latest operating system.
Apple: Yes, that is correct.
So this goes against what I have otherwise read. Anyone actually used their late 2015 iMac as a second monitor?
