Hi, I work with a TV screen as a second screen to my iMac. Also uses Microsoft Office.
After upgrading to 'Monterey' I found out that every time the waking the Mac, after a break, the big 'Excel' sheets that where open on the second, big screen, appear on the primer iMac screen. The 'Word' docs that where also on the second screen, remain on it.
Can anyone help resolve it?
Have you selected to have Excel only open your second (TV) screen.
When Excel is open and on your second screen Control- click on the
Excel icon in the Dock, click on Options under Assign To
select Desktop on Display 2.
For example.
I usually open excel on the bigger screen because it is large.
I tried your suggestion but didn't't get the same options. I right click on the excel icon, then go to 'options' but only the first three line appear - all the options under the line, on your example, do not appear, and I tried it on other apps.
