Hello.
Is there really no way to access locked iPhone (6+'s iOS v12.5.5, 11 Pro Max iOS v14.8.1, and 12 mini's iOS v15.1)'s Wallet app (showing passes) without an entered payment card? :( Or did I miss a way to do it from my web searches?

Correct.
Method of Payment:
You need at least one Method of Payment in there. This is because for free apps, there are in-app purchases. So, add the new Method of Payment, and then remove the current Method(s) of Payment. Go Here: Change, Add, or Remove Apple ID Payment Methods - Apple Support

Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type1. "
Select: "Application/Utilities" for the "Feedback Area1. "
Comment:1. on why this seems dumb, and how you think things should be a bit better
2. Proceed from there as necessary.
