Using two apps at the same time.

Hi guys

From my iPhone 11 is it possible to listen to one app via an external speaker (ie listen to Spotify via Sonos) and use a second app (ie Duolingo) via the phones speaker, so they are completely separate? Currently if I am listening to music via an external speaker and using the learning app Duolingo this app’s sound also plays through the external speaker.
