How to listen to music on Airplay speakers AND watch and listen to news videos on iPhone?

It’s possible when listening to music on Spotify. Spotify Connect allows me to send music to my B&W. Foundation Wedge and simultaneously listen to a news clip or a TikTok. All on my iPhone.
Will Apple improve AirPlay to have the same capabilities as Spotify? I decided to switch from Spotify to Apple Music recently. Do I need to switch back?
