Logitech Circle View cameras not responding in HomeKit on Mac

Good morning, I have four Logitech Circle View cameras. I am experiencing a problem when attempting to view each camera individually in HomeKit on my Mac. The cameras operate as advertised when HomeKit app is opened and all four cameras display their applicable video feeds in the "Favourite Cameras" section; however, once a specific camera is selected and "double-clicked", the camera then becomes unresponsive.

Notes

  1. My Mac's OS is up to date with macOS Monterey version 12.0.1.
  2. This camera issue is isolated to my Mac, I do not experience that cited above on my iPhone and iPad. iPhone and iPad OS are up to date.

Any assistance to resolve this "unresponsive issue" is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Stef068,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand you have cameras set up in HomeKit on your Mac, iPhone and iPad. But, when you double-click a camera to view it on your Mac, it becomes unresponsive. We understand this does not occur on your iPhone or iPad. That is a good way to isolate it further to your Mac.

Can you boot your Mac into safe mode and test to see if the same behavior occurs there? How to use safe mode on your Mac. Depending on the result, continue to the next applicable section in that article; either 'If the issue continues in safe mode' or 'If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode'.

Get back to us with the results and outcome of those steps.

Best regards.
