Hello Bollis_1110,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you have a used MacBook Pro that won't start up. You see error, 'apple.com/support -5101F. We'll do our best to assist.
It sounds like when you boot up, it's trying to boot to Internet recovery. Do you see a globe spinning on the screen as it starts up?
This may be helpful: If your Mac doesn't start up all the way
If the above isn't the case, has it ever started up successfully since you've purchased it? Was this purchased through a Reseller or a third-party?
Have you run diagnostics, prior to this post? If so, what were those results?
Hoping to hear back, take care.
Hey Bollis_1110,
It sounds like you were able to resolve these issues booting your MacBook Pro with Apple Support, is that right? You are able to use the Mac without any errors?
Have a good one, cheers.
Thank you. This is on 2016 Mac boom pro, i just purchased. I also had a problem to get the OS installed. " no items I'm bag" message. This was eventually solved by setting the date and time correct. It had to be done in the terminal window, with help from user support..
Yes its perfect now. Thanks for your help!
You're welcome!
Have a lovely weekend, take care!
