Strange Display Marks When Screen Is Turned Off

Hi All, when the display on my 12" MacBook is off there are visible marks (not scratches) but keyboard imprints etc...

How can I safely remove these please?

Follow Apple's guidance: soft cloth and water only. I use dry microfiber clothes with great success.

transparent gray lines appearing on macbook air screen. there are gray horizontal lines that go across the screen. I can see the screen with no difficulty but it is very annoying for me. I think it happened after something made a small chip on the black plastic bar that connects the screen to the keyboard. Any solutions?
