logic pro x issue
Hello peeps!
I'm having issues with my Logic Pro X. I'm trying to add MP3 audio to a new project, but it won't add. Whenever I open the software I receive an "audio file not found" error from the last project I completed. After I go through the process of locating the audio file, I X out of that project to create a new one I've tried both importing and drag-and-drop, but it won't add the MP3 audio either way. This was never an issue before I started receiving the error, so I'm assuming it has something to do with it. Additionally, after I have located the audio file, I receive a "The last selected audio interface is not available. The previously selected interface 'MacBook Pro Speakers' will be used instead for this session." error. This also happens every time I open Logic. I have to locate the audio file and I receive the error.
I just updated my Mac to see if that would help anything, but it didn't.
Because this is a simple project, I also tried GarageBand, but the same thing happens when I try to import/drag-and-drop. However I don't receive the "audio file not found" or "The last selected audio interface is not available. The previously selected interface 'MacBook Pro Speakers' will be used instead for this session." errors after opening the program like I do in Logic Pro X.
Should I maybe uninstall and reinstall Logic? What else might be causing this issue?
Any and all help you can provide me is much appreciated! If it would help to have images or screen recordings of the issue as well, just let me know.
