HomeKit shows all unresponsive, Alexa controls them fine

I have a number of Hue lights that were all connected both through Alexa and Apple Home Kit. My network recently changed with an upgrade in fiber speeds. I had to modify the network connections in Alexa to get everything paired up again.

Alexa is working perfectly. HomeKit however shows all the devices as unresponsive except for the AppleTv which it still controls. How do I get HomeKit to reacquire my devices?

i do not have a HomePod. I had all this working fine without one. I have a Hue hub. Again, it’s working fine but HomeKit isn’t.

Greetings klessa,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! It seems your HomeKit accessories are showing as unresponsive after a change in your internet service.

Have you had a chance to restart your modem/router? If not, give that a try to help clear up connection issues. If the issue persists, delete the accessories from the Home app and set them up again, and then test the behavior:

Kind regards.
