Video and audio freezes while on Messenger

When using video or audio on Messenger within a minute it freezes. Cannot hang up. The timer is still counting. I get out of Messenger by swiping away. Come back to Messenger and still connected, timer is counting but no audio or video. The only way for me to totally hang up is by shutting of my iPhone 13 Pro then turn it back on again. This happened after my iPhone was updated to 15.1.1

I have an iPad and it has the update 15.1 and have no issues with it. It has been more than 24 hrs since I deleted Messenger App on my iPhone then reinstalled the App as per Apple directions.

Apple says it’s a third party App. That I know. So, where do we stand on a fix.
