Shared calendar

When I add an event to the shared calendar I have with my husband, he says that he receives several notifications a day going to his watch?

On the Watch app of my phone, I have notifications set to Mirror on my iPhone and Calendars set to Custom. For the custom calendar setting, I have unchecked all of the shared calendars. Outside calendar notifications turned off on iPhone, but still occur on apple watch. I have multiple shared work calendars in Outlook that connect to my iPhone calendar. They are deselected in Calendar settings on my iPhone (I do not receive iPhone notifications), but I am still receiving notifications on my apple watch. I would like to keep notifications for my core work calendar on my watch, but how can I get rid of the unwanted notifications for the other calendars? I have turned off calendars in iCloud on my iPhone and then resynced - no change.

Calendar My work calendar is synced with my phone. I have the ability to see co-workers’ calendars from my phone (if I have selected their calendar to be viewed). Why do I still see calendar events/reminders for my co-workers even if their calendar isn’t marked? it also pops up on my Apple Watch. If I delete my calendar on my phone and reinstall it, will I lose all of my appointments that have been set?

He should receive any notifications that you have configured for the calendar event, but he would need to acknowledge the event in the calendar inbox. Maybe he has not done yet and is still seeing that notification.
