Using sidecar with photoshop. My second gen Apple Pencil appears grey when I draw instead of the selected black. If I use my Bluetooth mouse it appears black but not with pencil.

im trying to sync my iPad to use as a tablet on Photoshop. It works great other than when I use my app,e pencil gen 2. When I try drawing on my iPad on psd the strokes appear grey even though the selected color is black. When I use my Bluetooth mouse to draw it appears black so I know it’s not a problem with the color. Immediately once I use my pencil then it goes super translucent again, I’ve checked the settings of the pencil and everything is at 100%. Any advice to help get the pencil to work properly would be greatly appreciated, thank you !

Hello, Gabrielledef.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

To confirm, does this only happen when you're using Photoshop? Have you tried other apps as well? If it's only specific to Photoshop, try the steps here: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

If unresolved, you may want to contact the app developer for further help.

Keep us updated.

Cheers!
