Whatsapp not working in background

I switched to iphone a while back

My whatsapp and other apps are not working in background

they are closing automatically after some times. due to this I'm missing out some important messages I have seen if background refresh is on and the device is not in low powered mode

I m kinda looking out for suggestions

Whatsapp message search not working after changing to new iphone Hello, I recently changed phones and whatsapp search is not working properly, I transfered everything via icloud to my new phones including the chat backups for whatsapp, but when I try to search for a word in general search bar or contact sesrch bar in whatsapp it shows “Preparing Results 0%) and it gets stuck like that for hours, not a single message shows up (even the ones I recieved after the backup) I tried to backup the chat, delete whatsapp, redownload and restore chats 4 times! I tried restarting my phone and connecting to different wifis as well as celluar data. I’m just so lost. I tried everything online that I could find. Does anyone have a solution for this? Please help :(

Background App Refresh not working on any app. I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.7.1. Many apps are not updating their content while in background. Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, Twitter, instagram etc, Background App Refresh is enabled under Settings for all apps. This is NOT related to notifications. I do not wish to factory reset the device or reinstall the apps because I have lots of info in both apps that would be lost.
