Audible notifications

Hello ~ Try going to Settings * Notifications * Show on Lock Screen * Then go down to Lock Screen and check that it is on with blue check mark showing. If this doesn’t help post back and we will keep working on it :)

Okay, so you do not have them showing in Accessibility. I'm not as familiar with Oticon hearing Aids, I use the Resound. You may need to contact Oticon support for help with those. Are there any settings in the Oticon app regarding notifications?

If these are Made for iPhone hearing aids, go to Settings>Accessibility>Hearing Devices> and check the settings for Play Ringtones, Play System Sounds, and Audio Routing. As far as the Show on Lock Screen setting, that is on the older iOS, the newer iOS you just select Lock Screen under Alerts.

Unfortunately, I cannot email you directly, we are volunteers here, users just like you and it is a privacy thing.

I enjoy my Resound HA, but I do not have them configured quite the same as you. My hearing is not real bad, so I do not have things streaming to my HAs, but I think part of that has to do with the fact I have the Apple Watch and get notifications there, so my wrist is always vibrating! You may wish to do a search here on the forum using Oticon for a search word, or you can try that plus notifications. I've read about the Oticons here before, but cannot recall what all the discussions were about. You may find something there, or maybe check Oticon's website and see if they have a similar FAQ page, or forum for users and someone there may have encountered a similar issue.

Hello ~ You probably are not and it would be helpful to learn more in this area should someone else have a question here. I don’t think many understand the importance hearing and take it for granted…which none of us should…right? Be well.

You're welcome. Mine is more of a high frequency hearing loss, and they help with that, especially speech. I also go a day or so at home without using them to rest my ears from having those things poked in there. Since I'm retired, I can go without them at home, just turn stuff up a little higher! My wife is at work, so I don't get complaints of the tv turned up too loud. Good luck.
