Logitech M535 bluetooth mouse won't connect after Monterey update

After updating to my 2018 MacBook Pro to Monterey, my Logitech M535 mouse lost some added functions (fwd/back/etc). I restarted hoping for an easy fix. Now it isn't recognized AND it won't pair.

I reset the bluetooth module, deleted the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file, and reset SMC all without success.

Thoughts?
