Does not using an original apple data cable damage the battery health?

The type-c port on my PC does not work. So I only use another USB to lighting cable (not original) to connect my iPhone 12 pro to iTunes and back up my photos to PC. Does this affect the battery health due to the use of this cable? The original cable is used to charge the phone.

As long as your accessories are part of the MFi Program they are safe.


This means the manufacturer is using genuine parts and ensuring proper quality control.
