Guided access issues with screen lock

Is anyone else having problems with screen lock not working when in guided access? I’m running an iPad mini 6th gen.. I’ve contacted Apple and they have no solution other than wait for an update.

The problem is i need it to work so if you have an iPad mini and don’t have this issue can you please let me know what version and what iOS you’re running as I may need to return this and get an older one… i have 2 weeks to decide wether to return the item before I’m stuck with it, and wasted nearly £500.

The guided access itself works, it’s the getting out of it that does not happen. The screen is unresponsive when you have to enter the passcode to get out. iPad Air 5th gen guided access i just got the ipad air 5th gen. I followed all instructions but when i try to activate guided access by triple clicking the top button, it just locks on the first click. how do i fix this?

Can't turn off guided access We have a 7th Gen iPad running iOS 15.6.1. Guided access has been set up on the iPad. I'm trying to turn guided access off, but triple clicking the home button isn't working (specifically nothing is happening) . A restart and/or power off isn't working as I get the message 'guided access enabled, triple click home key to turn off'. I've tried triple clicking the home button, triple clicking the side button (as this is mentioned in some posts I've seen about this issue) and I have tried to power the device off. I just keep getting the msg about guided access being enabled and to triple click the home button to turn off. Triple clicking isn't working. Please can you help
