deleting apps in the Dock
how do I stop the TV icon opening in the dock. In the dock it has a small (dot) showing below the TV icon ( how do I get rid of that please ? ) This relates to a MacBook Air

Tp remove an app from the dock, hold down the control key while clicking on the app in the dock, then click Options, then click Remove from Dock.
The icons on the Dock are shortcuts to your apps.
To remove a shortcut, just click and drag off the Dock to remove it.
Thanks for the quick reply what does the dot mean beneath the app I also have it on another icon
From selecting Options 3 options appear 1. Keep in Dock. 2. Open at login 3. Show in finder.
nothing about removing it from the Dock. Also curious what the black dot means ?
