Why was I charged for the gift card that I received during the Black Friday promotion?

Hello,The problem I encountered while shopping was, I bought ipad and apple pencil from apple store on black friday,And got a gift card after order completion and checkout,But when I confirmed my bank account, I found that the gift card was also charged. Does anyone know why?

Because Apple’s Black Friday campaign was to buy products to give gift cards, but I was charged an extra gift card fee. There was no discount on the product and the fee was increased, which is unreasonable.

The Black Friday deal included only a gift card, not a discount and gift card. Review the terms and conditions at https://www.apple.com/shop/gifts/shopping-event/terms-conditions

I paid partial with a gift card, they then charged my card to much when item was in stock, so I had to call.

That doesnt' explain why Im now paying back the $100. Per the service rep at Apple, who said, "That's why I didnt buy anything during black friday."

and of course... no way to go back and screen print that. Ive got the same issue with my ipad purchase. I'm afraid if I dispute the charge with my CC, they'll void the gift card.

I had to call, my device was back ordered, I split payment with gift card. They then put 2 payments on my cc. 1 was correct other was an extra amount. Receipt clearly shows an overpay.
