iPhone 13: any way to set RAW as the default capture option when starting camera?

Posting this question which was not answered in the link below.

When I set the camera to RAW on (and therefore live view off), it will stay that way for a moment or two when I close the iPhone. Then it reverts back to RAW off.

Very frustrating! I just want to capture in Pro Raw as my default. Anyone figured out how to do this? I don't need Apple to protect me from capturing too many large image files.
