iphone 11 deathloop

so i’m currently traveling at the moment, i was adding songs to my playlist on apple music when the first problem occurred i tried to listen to a song i hadnt and a pop up appeared with the phrase “operation stopped” i tried figuring out what was the problem and went to the home screen when all of a sudden my iphone went into the screen it goes too when it dies. i thought it was a simple glitch and that i would be able to turn it back on easily. until i was surprised that it redirected me to the lock screen but only for a split second until it went back to the spinning death screen it looped like this for five minutes until it finally booted back up again, my phone is fine now but i would like to know what happened for future reference that way i dont panic especially since i barely got this phone a year and a half ago.
