iTunes Error Message

Genius Results Can't Be Updated Because iTunes Store Doesn't Recognize Tour iTunes Library.

File>Library>Turn Off Genius (Not an Option) Then Turn Back On.

Can't turn Genius Off So as to Turn Back On

Tried Deleting ITDB Genius File. No Success.

Have been Converting AAC files to Apple Lossless Files Deleting AAC And Adding Lossless to iCloud

Library. Now I am Locked Up Can't Add Any More Files Without Getting Error Message.

Please Direct Me

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I understand you are receiving an error from iTunes stating, "Genius results can't be updated because the iTunes store doesn't recognize your iTunes library". We'd be happy to assist you in finding the best resolution path.


We recommend to go ahead and sign out of iTunes and close iTunes completely. Open iTunes again and sign back into iTunes. Next make sure that iCloud Music Library is enabled under Preferences > General Preferences. Lastly, click File > Library and Update iCloud Music Library.


If you continue to have an issue, we recommend to Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
